Delete a D2C endpoint - x360Recover
Delete (deprovision) a protected system - x360Recover
Ensure that you have the corret permissions to preform these actions and you have approval, the actions highlighted below are deletion of data and are irreversable
- Record the GUID Identifier
- This is in the case of acidental deletion as systems are stored in the saftey archive prior to full deletion
- Uninstall the agent software
- Login to the Axcientx360Portal and Launch x360Recover
- Access either the Vault or Appliance GUI
- Open the Agent Configuration Window
- Click the Check box to uninstall the agent
- If there is a Password for the system enter it now
- Click on Save
- Confirm the uninstalation by Clicking Uninstall
These Steps are important If you do not uninstall the agent there is a possability that once you delete the protected system that it re-nrolls and triggers a new backup
If the Client is using a Direct to cloud Instance you can Skip Steps 2-5
- Access the Vault GUI
- Find the Protected system that you would like to delete
- Select the Trashcan under the Actions Collum and Confrim Deletion
- Navigate to the Aplliance's GUI
- Select the Replication Tab
- Delete all Valut Replication Partnerships
- Enter the Hostname for the Protected System and Click Delete Settings and Vault Data
- Confirm the Deletion
- Navigate to the Protected System Pane of the Appliance GUI
- Click on the Trash Can for the appliance under the actions Collum
- Confirm the Deletion
- Shut the System Down and Wait about 1 hour
- Navigate to the Axcient x360Recover Portal
- Select Appliances in the left navigation Pane
- On the Far left of the table there is a drop down arrow slect that and Select delete (This option will not be there if the appliance is online)
- Navigate to the Vault GUI
- Find the Protected System in the Table of protected systems on the vault
- Select the trash can under the actions collum in the table
- Confirm deletion
- Navigate to the x360 Recover Portal
- Select Customers in the left navigation Pane
- On the far left of th customers table click the drop down arrow and select delete client
- Confrim Deletion
